About our Retreat Host: Elizabeth Weybright
Elizabeth is a Retreat Leader, Interior Designer, and Spanish Teacher. She has led transformative, culturally immersive, adventurous retreats and travel throughout Latin America, including Puerto Rico, Cuba, Mexico, Costa Rica, Panama, and more.
Elizabeth lives in Seattle, WA. She has 3 wonderful kids and 2 dogs. She loves dancing, creating, being with friends, & basking in the energy of the enchanted island of Puerto Rico.
Questions & Answers
Q: Are men & women both invited? Are kids allowed? A: All adult women and non-binary are welcome. No kids or cis men at the retreat. Stay tuned for co-ed & family retreats.
Q: What is the activity level of this retreat? A: This will be a very active retreat with moderate fitness level. Activities include lots of walking, swimming, dancing, and hiking. You always have the option to modify or opt out of an activity.
Q: Can I do additional tours/excursions? A: Our schedule will be pretty full! We will have the opportunity to schedule massages, and you are welcome to use your downtime however you like.
Q: Is there a minimum and maximum number of participants? A: YES! Our minimum is 4 participants & our maximum is 10. We like to keep our group relatively small.
Q: Can I get a private room? A: Yes! Absolutely.
Q: Will there be people who aren't part of our group in the hotel? A: There may be other guests in the hotel, however, not participating in our activities & excursions.
Q: Is the area safe? A: Yes. Use general precautions as you would in any place you are not familiar with or any major city.
Q: What airport do I fly into? A: Luis Munoz Marin Intl Airport, San Juan, Puerto Rico
Q: Do I need a passport? A: You do NOT need a passport. PR is a US Territory.
Q: How much is airfare to San Juan, Puerto Rico? A: It really depends on where you are traveling from. We recommend checking the airlines directly.
Q: Should I rent a car? A: Transportation in PR is provided for all included activities, including pick-up & drop-off at the airport as long as you are arriving & departing during specified hours. Our hotel is located a 15-20 minute walk to restaurants and swimming beaches. If mobility is an issue, we recommend calling an Uber, or renting a car.
Q: Do you offer payment plans? A: Yes! You can make a $500 down payment, 50% is due 90 days before the event, with the remainder due 60 days before the event.
Q: What is the cancellation policy? A: All full payments are 70% refundable up to 90 days before the event. Payments are non-refundable 60 days before the event. Deposits are non-refundable. We recommend travel insurance!
Q: What’s not included? A: Airfare, travel Insurance (highly recommended), some lunches and dinners
